Patrick Scalisi |
A native of Naugatuck, Pat achieved a certificate in Cryptid Field Observation Studies from Nutmeg State University. His primary focus is on composing written notes of cryptid behavior and appearance while examining these creatures in their native habitats. Aside from his cryptid research, Pat has been known to write about much more fanciful topics like fantasy worlds and outer space. His youth sci-fi novel, The Key to the Universe, is available from Owl Hollow Press.
In his spare time, Pat often sheds his guise of a responsible adult to play video games, build Lego models, and generally be a nerd. He lives in Naugatuck with his partner, Crystal, and their cadre of cats. |
Valerie Ruby-Omen |
Valerie is a professional artist who earned a certificate in Cryptid Illustrative Works from Constitution State College. Her love for the glorious state parks and natural wonders of Connecticut led her deep into the woods, where she found her true calling as a cryptid field artist. With her work of cataloging every Connecticut cryptid now complete, she plans on taking a quick break to sample an iced latte from every coffee shop in the state.
When Valerie isn’t creating art … just kidding, she’s always creating art! You can find her moonlighting on various projects at The Tiny Ruby Illustrations. She lives blissfully in Naugatuck with her partner, Dee, and their tiny black cat named Ashiok. |
